National Addictions Awareness Week 2025

National Addictions Awareness Week brought our community together for a warm and meaningful series of events in Telegraph Creek from November 17–21, 2025. Centered around the theme “Connecting Through Community,” the week offered a safe and welcoming space that encouraged connection, learning, and support.

Activities Throughout the Week

The events began on Monday with a pancake breakfast and an evening paint night, where children and adults enjoyed the craft and came out with a lot of lovely paintings. Community members gathered on Tuesday for game night, a crib tournament, and NDN Bingo with prizes. Midweek gatherings continued on Wednesday with a community lunch followed by a coffee house night with music, creating space for sharing and relaxation.

On Thursday, everyone gathered at the park for a hotdog and hamburger roast, enjoying good food and company outdoors.

Honoring Sobriety

The week concluded on Friday with a community dinner and Sober Acknowledgements—an important moment to recognize and support those in our community on their journeys toward sobriety.

Thank you to everyone who joined, volunteered, and contributed to a wonderful week of National Addictions Awareness Week this year! ❤️
