The Kēhke Wellness Team provides mental health services and counselling to Tahltan community members in Dease Lake, Iskut and Telegraph Creek. The program is funded by FNHA and the funds are administered by the Tahltan Band for service in these three communities.
Service
Adam Pratt – (MST) Interim Team Lead – RN RTC — travels to Tahltan Territory and sees clients in person every second month, with virtual sessions on Wednesdays, he offers sessions both for individuals and couples, referrals and consultations for substance use disorders and is available to provide group mental health education on request. Adam has a wealth of knowledge around options for addictions treatment and posttreatment support, and hopes to support Tahltan-led, land-based healing programs in the territory.
Jacqueline Wilson – Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) — Jacqueline is a highly skilled and compassionate counsellor registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Jacqueline brings extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma and complex life challenges. Her professional background spans both military and civilian settings, including service with the Canadian Armed Forces and international deployments to Haiti, Honduras, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. These experiences have shaped her deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and recovery.
Devin Pollitt – Registered Social Worker – RSW, MSW, PhD(c) — Devin is a Registered Social Worker and mental health service provider with more than a decade of clinical and community experience, much of it focused on the Pacific Northwest. He has provided on-site mental health services, workshops, and training to Indigenous communities across British Columbia, including the Tahltan Nation, Nisga’a Nation, Haisla Nation, Kitselas First Nation, Lax Kw’alaams, and Tsilhqot’in Nation.
