Economic Development Department

The Economic Development Department promotes the community’s economic well-being while understanding that a socially and environmentally healthy community is vital to the local economy. Through clean energy planning and the Indigenous Off-Diesel Initiative (IODI), the Department strives to advance energy sovereignty in Telegraph Creek by protecting air, water, and land, supporting healthy homes, fostering energy independence, and creating economic resilience through local job opportunities and renewable energy development.
